What You'll Do
- Provide Skilled PTA Care: Implement individualized plans of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Perform Therapeutic Interventions: Focus on functional strengthening, gait training, balance, and fall risk reduction to help patients reach their mobility goals.
- Report Patient Progress: Document patient responses to treatment and communicate with the supervising PT to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Manage Your Caseload: Set your own schedule and visit cadence based on the plan of care.
- Document Efficiently:Use one simple EMR system for all notes (with tools available to minimize documentation time!)
What You Need
- Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license
- CPR or BLS certification
- Driver’s license and auto insurance
- Physical + TB test (within the last year)
- Professional liability and business license (if applicable)
Where You'll Be Working
We're seeking a home health clinician for the sprawling San Fernando Valley, covering Burbank, Northridge, Sherman Oaks, and more. This area offers a slightly more relaxed pace than central LA, with a strong suburban feel. You'll find a diverse array of dining, shopping, and activities. While traffic on the major freeways can be heavy, you'll be close to everything you need.
Spanish-speaking clinicians would have a great opportunity to connect with the community.
